Parent involvement...are YOU doing enough?

Parent involvement is vital to the success of a School, its administrators, teachers and students.  Do YOU know what's going on at your child's School?  Do you know the Principle on a first name basis?  Do you see changes that are necessary? 

Everyone is busy.  Some parents and teachers have two jobs or more. Times are hard.  We still need to support our children in everything they do.  Schools need that parental involvement.  When a parent supports their children at home, it gives them that motivation and confidence they need.  They then believe they can succeed in School.  Teachers see that and appreciate it.  It makes their jobs easier I am certain.

Get involved.  Reach out and talk with your child's teachers.  When there is events or meetings available for all parents....GO!  Yes we are tired....but get there and make a difference.
